We took about 7 escalators to get to the tram entrance, hopped on board with about 10 other similarly dedicated tourists and felt gravity pulling at us as this tram yammered up to the top with the tram at a 45 degree angle at times! Once we got to the top there was a Madame Tussaud's you could also visit (we skipped it) and another set of escalators to climb before getting to the Sky Terrace. Here is the website for the Peak and the Sky Terrace: http://www.thepeak.com.hk/en/
It was cold, windy and our umbrella immediately turned inside out. We persevered and got some awesome Hong Kong skyline shots before I got cold and ran back inside.
From there it was a bit of a puzzle how to get out of the building as they wanted you to go through booth after booth of knick-knacks and souvenirs before you left...I ended up buying postcards just so we could leave ;)
We took another cheap cab ride back to our hotel and found a late bite to eat at the Harmony Restaurant, a real authentic place with plastic "doors" and cups of nummy black tea in these awful plastic glasses that they would slam down on the table as soon as you were finished!
We promised ourselves over dinner that we would get down to business and take on Hong Kong tomorrow, even tackling the Subway system to get around town.
Good night!

Nothing burns off the excess adrenaline of a 42 story photo shoot like going toe to toe with Bruce Lee.
