Day 47 - Travel to the KL

Packed up and ready to go, we caught a cab to the airport and were more than dismayed to find that our flight was delayed three hours!  Ty wasn't feeling good so he went to read in a sunbeam while I caught up with emails and Facebook...and even though we couldn't understand the flight announcements we did catch our flight to Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur's airport was one of the most confusing airports I have ever traveled through; you had to know to book a cab before you left the arrivals gate so you didn't get screwed over in the taxicab line...after all that we didn't take a cab when they quoted us $80USD!

We eventually found the shuttle bus line up and after a few hours we got to our sweet digs, the Ambassador Suites and were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment suite!  By this time Ty had completely succumbed to a terrible flu and we were both in bed by 8:00pm!
