Day 50 - Travel to Phnom Penh

This morning we waited outside of our hotel for our shuttle pick-up to the airport.  It never came so I asked the bellman to call and find out what had happened.  Apparently he didn't like the look of us so just kept driving!  We haggled through the bellman and eventually wound up taking a cab to a random bus stop, where our scheduled Greyhound Bus picked us up and took us to the Kuala Lumpur Airport International Departure terminal!

After checking in we shared a big bowl of noodle soup (I out-ate Tyler, who was still not feeling 100%) in the airport and watched some big storms outside of our gate lounge.  Ty started to feel better when I installed him in a chair massager and got him a hot tea to sip on!

We arrived into the Phnom Penh airport during busy rush hour traffic to Hotel 9, which we had selected due its proximity to lovely Vietnamese restaurant Pho 24, and had a pool and free breakfast!

Nothing like Pho to cure what ails you!

We went right to bed to get ready for tomorrow's adventure to the Killing Fields and the Genocide Museum.
