Day 56 - Travel to Ho Chi Minh City

Breakfast at the hotel was included...eggs, toast and juice/tea, and after scarfing that down we packed up and started waiting for our Vietnam Visa's to arrive in my email inbox.  We also had to get passport photos and print out our Visa's, and the printer at our hotel was unfortunately out of ink!

I had the idea to check out some of the nicer hotels in the area to see if could use their business center so we started walking in +32 degree weather.  We eventually found a hotel with a friendly front desk clerk who let us print out our documents and afterwards found an Internet/Scan shop where this sweet 16 year old Cambodian gal scanned in our passport photos, adjusted them to size, and printed them out on high quality color paper for less than $1 USD!!

With that done we tuk-tuk'd to the airport for the 2nd time and successfully got on our flight to HCMC! After an hour or so of waiting in the Visa Application line, we got our Visa's glued in our passports and cabbed it to our hotel, the Sophia!

After Trip-advisor'ing some places nearby we walked about 10 minutes and had "333" beers and cook your own beef barbeque!  It was so delicious so we had at least 3 rounds of beers and on our way back to the hotel were offered "Marijuan" several times, which was really surprising as South East Asia is generally really against illegal drugs...

Back at the hotel we discussed our plan for tomorrow; to do all our shopping in one day...
